Harry B[ache] Smith, born in Buffalo, New York, 1860; died in Atlantic City, New Jersey, 1936. Librettist for The Girl in the Train (Broadway), The Siren, The Doll Girl, The Spring Maid, Modest Suzanne, Gypsy Love (Broadway), The Rose Maid, The Lilac Domino, Caroline, The Love Song, Countess Maritza, The Circus Princess, and Three Little Girls. He frequently worked with his brother Robert as the lyricist.
