It was home to the London premieres of The Merry Widow (1907, revival 1923), The Dollar Princess (1909, revival 1925), A Waltz Dream revival (1911), The Count of Luxembourg (1911), Gipsy Love (1912), Jacobi’s The Marriage Market (1913) and Sybil (1921), Gilbert’s The Lady of the Rose (1922, revival 1929) and Katja the Dancer (transferred from the Gaiety in 1922), Fall’s Madame Pompadour (1923), Straus’s Cleopatra (1925), Gilbert’s Yvonne (1926), Lehár’s The Blue Mazurka (1927), Lilac Time revivals (1927, 1928), and Sirmay’s Lady Mary (1928).
